Linking a Server to Shadowfire

Preface

Send this information to linkreq@ shadowfire.org. Make sure its filled out completely. The more information you provide the better we can assess the situation.

Basic Requirements

  • Your server must run a variant of Unix.
  • You must be willing to run UnrealIRCD.
  • Your server must be connected to the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ISDN, Cable, ADSL, or Wireless links will not be accepted.
  • The public and the rest of the network expect you to provide them with an uninterrupted service. This requires that you have an uptime of almost 100%
  • You must be willing to take an active part the running of ShadowFire?. This requires that you be online and active almost every day; for a reasonable amount of time.
  • You must be willing to abide by Shadowfire's policy. This can be found at: http://shadowfire.org/Artemis/aup

  • Network Card Speed: (10Mbit, 100Mbit)

  • Is this machine Leased, a purchased shell, Collocated, and with whom.

Link Information

Please include ping's and traceroutes to the following servers. Make sure you include at least 100 packets, and each packet is 1024 bytes in size.
